GE Brand Dehumidifier

Midea Recalls Certain GE Brand Dehumidifiers (limited 2010 models) – April 29, 2014

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, GD Midea Air Conditioning Equipment Ltd. (Midea) has announced a recall of 15,500 GE branded dehumidifiers manufactured by Midea between January and April 2010.

These dehumidifiers are white 30-pint portable units with a front-loading water bucket and digital controls located on top. Dehumidifiers with the following model and serial number prefixes are included in the recall:

Model number begins with ADKW30LN
Serial number begins with AT1, DT1, FT1, or GT1

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dehumidifiers, unplug them and contact Midea for instructions on returning their recalled dehumidifier for a free repair. To learn more or confirm whether your dehumidifier is included in the recall:
